This Privacy Policy explains how Ofidely handles information when businesses and customers use our WhatsApp-first loyalty service.

Ofidely is used by local businesses to operate loyalty programs and by customers who interact with those programs through WhatsApp, QR codes, and related communications.

2. Information we collect

We may collect information that businesses provide when creating and managing an account, such as account details, business profile information, loyalty settings, customer communication content, and uploaded business materials.

We may collect information from customers when they interact with a participating business through Ofidely, such as their WhatsApp contact information, messages sent to the bot, loyalty activity, reward status, and related customer service information.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and manage business accounts, operate loyalty programs, send and receive WhatsApp messages, award and redeem points, prevent abuse, provide analytics, support users, and improve the service.

We may also use information to secure the service, troubleshoot issues, enforce our Terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect users, businesses, Ofidely, and the public.

4. WhatsApp and Meta

Ofidely uses WhatsApp and related Meta services to send and receive messages. When you use Ofidely through WhatsApp, your messages and related information may also be handled by WhatsApp and Meta according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Businesses are responsible for making sure their customer communications through Ofidely are lawful, expected, and consistent with applicable messaging rules.

5. Information shared with businesses

A participating business may access loyalty information related to customers in that business's own loyalty program, such as customer contact details, point balances, reward activity, account status, and information used to review suspected abuse.

Businesses are responsible for using customer information lawfully and for responding to customer questions about their own loyalty program, rewards, and business practices.

6. Service providers

We may use trusted service providers to host the service, store information, deliver messages, process communications, secure the platform, and support business operations.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Ofidely, subject to their own legal obligations and service terms.

7. Business images and public content

Businesses may upload images or content that can be sent to customers as part of loyalty communications. Businesses should not upload private, sensitive, or confidential content unless it is intended to be shared with customers.

Some business-provided content may be accessible to anyone who has the relevant link or receives the message.

8. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, support business and customer relationships, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain legitimate business records.

We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal, security, and operational requirements.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no online service, messaging platform, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should protect their devices, accounts, passwords, and WhatsApp access, and should notify the appropriate business or Ofidely contact if they believe their account or information has been misused.

10. Your choices and rights

Businesses can update account and loyalty information through the Ofidely dashboard. Customers can contact the participating business about their loyalty record, points, reward status, or account status.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal information. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

11. Children and sensitive information

Ofidely is not intended for children. Businesses should not use Ofidely to knowingly collect information from children or to collect sensitive personal information unless they have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.

12. International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than where a business or customer is located. Data protection laws may differ from one country to another.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when this version applies. Continued use of Ofidely after an update means the updated Policy applies.
